Vegan Individual Achievement

-
Robbie
Hazeley - Vegan
Mr Universe
Truly
amazing achievement for this
bloke, who has been bodybuilding
on a vegan diet for nearly 18
years now. Recently hit the highlight
of his career when in Dec 2006
Robbie made it a top ten finish
in Mr Universe - the world's
most prominent bodybuilding contest.
Training on a 100% vegan and
mainly raw diet, Robbie at over
50 years old is in the shape
of his life and his outstanding
self discipline in achieving
these heights is a real credit
to him, as well as a superb advertisement
for the vegan lifestyle. Awesome.

Harjinder
Singh - Sikh
martial artist
Quite
extraordinary fella from the
Midlands who can do the most
outrageous things with a sword,
as many of us witnessed at the
Bristol Vegan Fayre 2006. Harjinder
also trains a whole team of young
Sikhs in traditional costume
and fighting techniques, and
they all train on a vegan diet
too. Harjinder is a humble man
but his achievements in training
his young team, and the dedication
he has displayed are outstanding
in this day and age. A credit
to himself, his team, to the
Sikh culture and to the vegan
lifestyle across the globe. Back
for 2007 at the BVF. Email truthjustice8671@aol.com

Angie
Greenaway - Viva!
Incredible Veggie Roadshows
As
a team player Angie has a massive
amount of support but still must
take a large slice of the credit
for organising the Incredible
Veggie Roadshows that have been
sweeping the country with unparalleled
success for a couple of years
now. The shows have helped take
the vegan lifestyle to the four
corners of the UK, with more
to come, and their lively informative
atmosphere has helped create
a new generation of vegans wherever
they've gone. See www.viva.org.uk
James
Southwood - UK
Kickboxing champion
James
used to work for The Vegan Society
but the last few years has seen
him teach his favourite occupation,
Savate Kick Boxing, and 2006
saw him become British Champion.
Training on a 100% raw vegan
diet, James is at the cutting
edge of human health and sporting
achievement, excelling to the
highest level at this unique
combination of mind, body and
spirit. See www.londonsavate.co.uk

Paul
'gert vegan'- Bristol Vegans
Volunteer
Marvellous
contribution from local vegan
volunteer Paul over the last
couple of years. Numerous achievements
include setting up and running
the Bristol Vegans social group
and the website, maintaining
a hugely popular Bristol Vegans
MySpace page, and doing an enormous
shift on several Bristol Vegan
Fayres and guides. Immeasurable
contribution, and all for free
- a rare achievement in this
day and age, and one that he
should be well proud of. See www.veganbristol.makessense.co.uk and www.myspace.com/veganbristol

battle in the world of international

Benjamin
Zephaniah - Poet/activist/playwright/musician
Multi
talented and highly achieving
for several decades now, Benjamin
has that added ingredient that
is rare amongst such talented
individuals - he is a real force
as a personality and comes across
in real life as passionate and
inspirational as he does on stage,
in his written, spoken and visual
works. Vegan since way back now,
and still hugely active and completely
committed to a vast range of
causes. Legendary. See www.benjaminzephaniah.com
