ChrisCross,
Mavin and Timba - original
ClubYeyo DJ's from back in the
day
These
three musical gurus have between
them the complete kitty when
it comes to phat beats, original
house, balearic, chill, funk, drum
and bass, indie classics, Ibiza
anthems, ska, reggae, ragga, trip
and hip hop, and
some grooves so rare the likes of
which if you can still remember then
you cant have been there! The Bristol
Vegan Fayre is guaranteed to have
the best toons all weekend than any
other festival on the face of the
planet. ClubYeyo was THE clubnite
in Bristol to be at back in the early
nineties when the Thekla used to
rock to the sound of pure decadence,
indulgence and pleasure. There just
wasn't anything quite like it.....until
now as 3 of the original
founding members of the ClubYeyo
massive reunite to ensure Bristol
City Centre is awash with aural
ecstasy for two whole days.
CHRISCROSS -BRISTOL
DJ LEGEND DJ
ChrisCross came to Bristol from
London via the free festival/Stonehenge
circuit of the early 80's. One
third of the original Yeyo movement,
Chris was encouraged to start ClubYeyo
by Massive Attack's Daddy
G after 400 friends (or is that fiends)
came to his 21 st birthday party at
the then Moon Club (now Lakota). ClubYeyo
was without a shadow the best night
out in Bristol in the early 90's and
the nite was a regular fixture in both
Amsterdam and Cork too. Chris is currently
involved in various events, mainly
fundraisers & is looking forward
to this & future vegan fayres.

Denise Morgan
Denise
has worked with labels
such as Grand Central Records, is
currently working with Manchester-based
label, Fatnorthener Records and has
co-wrote and featured on Rob
Smith's new Album, 'In One Way
or Another', which is currently released
in Japan. According to Julian Homer
- Playtime band night - Chorlton, 'She
was great backstage, a quirky, amusing
person but I had yet to hear her
sing. After the second line of her
opening song I noticed the room had
fallen silent. Her voice was and
still is the most remarkable voice
I've heard at my night. Absolute
class, why she wasn't already signed
to major label, I didn't know - She's
got this amazing voice and these
amazingly heart felt, wear your ex
boyfriend on your sleeve type songs.
Her name should be Denise Franklin
after Aretha. One day she'll change
it. Click

Sikh Martial Artists
These
guys are awesome - believe.
Anyone who saw them last year will
know what I'm on about. Quite exceptional
display of swordsmanship and other
traditional Sikh martial arts displayed
immaculately by this team of young
warriors in full costume, trained
to the hilt by the Master himself,
Harjinder. All vegan, all truly exceptional - a
must see exhibition of masters at
work.
Rubber
Ritchie Top geez outta
London who can literally tie himself
up in knots. Rubber Ritchie is a
true original throwback to the Victorian
age, but as a yoga practitioner and
long term vegan (as well as bass
player in a thrash metal band) Ritchie
is truly 21 st century in his lifestyle
choices. Kids especially will be transfixed
by the rubber man in full effect as
he makes numerous appearances at the
BVF. Top dollar. Visit:
