YAOH 007 VEGAN ENVIRONMENTAL
AWARDS
Vegan Companies
Winners
of Ethical & Environmental
007 Awards
As thousands of ethically minded people
partied, shopped, danced, ate and drank
at the world's largest vegan festival,
Tim Barford, from Yaoh Hemp Products,
main sponsors, counted up the final on
line votes for the Yaoh 007 Awards.
The 5th Bristol Vegan Fayre was the
largest vegan festival the world has
ever seen. Nearly ten thousand visitors
travelling from all over the world to
join in the festivities, taste the latest
vegan food, listen to the speakers, dance
to the bands, be enthralled at the vegan
cooking demo's, watch the vegan eco-chic
fashion show, eat the dairy free ice
cream, try the cruelty-free cosmetics
and meet thousands of other like minded
people in search of a more ethical lifestyle.
Tim said “These environmental
oscars weren't just about the winning,
in many of the categories there were
only two or three votes between second
and fourth place. It showed how important
and appreciated all the vegan companies
are to ethical consumers. The 007 Awards
are about encouraging all the companies
involved to work together to help make
the world a better place as well as shinning
a spotlight on their innovation and existing
effort.”
There was also an award presented to
Dietician Sandra Hood author of the Vegan
Society book 'feeding your vegan infant
with confidence'. Sandra is the first
winner of The Arthur Ling Achievement
awards dedicated to recognising innovation
and excellence in helping to benefit
people animals and the environment. The
Award is sponsored by Plamil Foods pioneers
of plant-milk and dairy free chocolate
in the UK.
